Dear Barbara:

We organized DMR's Annual General Meeting held this past weekend at Silverdale. We wanted to thank you for contributing to its success, and we don't just mean your delightful, entertaining, warm, witty and inspiring 90 minute presentation--we wish you could have seen the "ripple effect" your 90 minutes had on the next 24 hours! All (well, most) of us were chanting, "Alive, Awake, Alert, Enthusiastic!" at 8:00 a.m. the following morning, one team adopted "YES!" as their motto during teamwork exercises, and during our "Casino Night" we heard many say "Trust and let go!" Several of us have been planning our treasure maps, and a few Zen Funerals are about to take place.

And the hugging! The different types of hugs were being referred to and demonstrated
throughout the day Friday and Saturday morning, and by closing ceremonies Saturday afternoon our division president was hugging our regional vice president who in turn was hugging the Vice Chairman of the Board (the R of DMR, by the way). Definitely not our usual corporate culture!

Thank you for your caring and sharing. We didn't want you to have had such a positive impact on our group and not know it!
